I’m all riled up. 

Why are we letting our students, our future generation, become hamsters on a wheel, robots filling their schedules with so many extracurriculars and resume fillers they can barely breathe? Studying for standardized tests tricked out w puzzles that many only successfully solve post thousand dollar prep classes + books heavier than my family’s mini Yorkie.

Why, as a society, are we OKAY with our students becoming robots? 

We can’t let our students lose themselves to the blend of competition, impression, and standardization.

The world expects more from us than that.
